Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Louma Designs! These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between Louma Designs ("the Designer") and you ("the Client") for graphic design services. By engaging Louma Designs, you agree to the following terms:
1. Scope of Work
The Designer agrees to provide graphic design services as outlined in the project proposal or agreement. Any additional work outside the agreed scope will require a separate agreement and may incur additional fees.
2. Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required to commence work.

The remaining balance is due upon project completion and before final files are delivered.

Payments can be made via credit card or by check mailed to: 8181 El Mundo Street, Suite 1901, Houston, TX 77054.

Returned checks will incur a $30.00 processing fee for check written on accounts with insufficient funds. This will be added to the amount owed. Payment must then be made by certified or bank check.

Late payments may incur a fee of 1.5% per month for amount past due.
3. Timeline
The Designer will provide an estimated timeline for project completion. The Client is responsible for providing timely feedback and materials. Delays in responses or materials may result in adjusted deadlines.
4. Revisions

The project includes two rounds of revisions.

Additional revisions beyond the included rounds will be billed at $150/hour (minimum time charge is 30 minutes)
5. Ownership and Copyright

Ownership of the final designs transfers to the Client upon full payment.

Louma Designs retains the rights to unused concepts and drafts.

The Designer may use completed work for portfolio and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.
6. Cancellation Policy

If the Client cancels the project, the deposit is non-refundable.

The Client will be billed for work completed up to the cancellation date.

If the Designer cancels the project, any deposits paid will be refunded.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep proprietary information confidential. The Designer will not disclose the Client's sensitive materials or project details without consent.
8. Liability
The Designer is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the designs. It is the Client's responsibility to ensure designs comply with legal requirements and industry standards.
9. Portfolio Rights
The Designer retains the right to showcase completed projects in their portfolio, on social media, or for promotional purposes unless the Client explicitly requests otherwise in writing.
10. Communication
The Designer will communicate via email at louise@loumadesigns.com or text and aims to respond within 2 business days. Clear and timely communication from both parties is essential for project success.
11. Amendments
These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
